As with most, you really don't feel the need for certain things until something bad happens and say "shit, wish i had one of those". Startin up my TC31 over the weekend and found my thumb gettin chewed by the prop  . SORE and a wee bit of blood. I'm now a beliver in the prop guard and will be installing it on my new boat stands. |

OK BILLY AND YES OPIO AND SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT EZ S THUB
ok so to put a handle on things i added 2" wider(that sounds familar)buy cutting 3"
straights and moving 2" to the uprights.after moving my hull forward and marked my center
i removed 7/8" for the tee
then i cut it
assembled some
so i could mesure the handle
and so
now heres somthing else i hope you really like
and if your aksing yourself(does this guy work at a hobby shop or what?)ya |

| does any one have plans for a miss vegas wood stand with prop guard. looking for measurments and design. seen one at dis 8 points race a month or two ago.It had a pipe set up for the exhaust ,so there is no mess on your table . |

yah i'll make a boat stand plan ,and no can't make it to the race this weekend . I can't race anymore till i sign up with namba . the new season startes in october so i didn't want to pay for a month or two.
our new club pays our namba membership out of the dues so i have to wait till the end of october. but i'm coming down to watch the big boats in october at twin lks. |

i've already created a universal stand for the Miss Vegas Series out of PVC pipe. it's a solid design, that also does not vibrate while motor runs. i built one for trespass and myself. he will have to post photos for now if he see's this post because i'm not currently in the country but when i get back i will post the design (which i've already painted up, with my boats name on it) with all the specs for you to build one for yourself. four big points i want to add about the stand (to answer some questions): now it doesn't have an official prop guard, but i designed the stand so that the prop sits in-between the pipping for protection in case it gets loose while keeping in mind a method in the design so you DO NOT damage your prop on the stand when moving your boat on and off of it. it's a universal stand because you can adjust the width of the stand at any time, and can be duplicated as many times over to stack them for multiple boat use (with one additional minor specification). |

This is how i build my stands .Its 3/4 pvc i had from a job .Its strong and holds both my Miss A and Vagas.The Emily stand will be a litle smaller and havnt thought how ill do the front.
