i'm running a Go .21 and i'm looking for the best placement to put the pressure fitting. from where the pipe starts to open up, the first dot is 1/4 inch and the second dot is 2 1/4 inch.

First thing is You Need to eliminate the header extension and put the tuned pipe up to the header, running a super long header like that will decrease back pressure and make the engine lean out, and it will never hit full RPM's.

The Pressure fitting should be at the widest part of the pipe for the most consistent pressure, if you want higher pressure pulses you can move it further back.

thanks, I went ahead and drilled a hole about 1/4 inche from the widest part of the pipe. I couldn't put it at the widest part because I have to keep the rubber silicone protection around the pipe so I won't burn a hole in my boat. Will have pixs up soon enough.

it's a .21 (3.5cc) Marine Tuned Pipe with an OS Exhaust Header Pipe. if i need to cut it down more i will, i just want to see how it runs like this. and what do you mean by cut at 8/5/8?

You measure from the Stinger,(exhaust end of the pipe) forward 8-5\8"in and cut it off there. If you cut just a little longer and use a good Mill File to clean up your cut, you will get a better fit.
