Hey wurster I See you removed the mounting ears from the servos, So I assume your Gluing them. Are You mounting theme to the Bottom Of the Box OR the Bottom Of The Aluminum Angle??

Also If you Need to Remove Ridges Inside That Box For Space, a Good "Sharp" Wood Chisle Works Very Well.

Rome if you glue them to the bottom of your radio box, when you have any servo problems you can Destroy a Radio Box Tryin to Get Em Out.
Also if Possible mount Servos up off the bottom of your box so When Water Gets In the box, Your Servos Aren't Sitting In It.

Well Of Course I Always Say What Ya Could Have Done,,After the Fact.
But Something Like this Brkt I made for the Pro Boats Would work in there.
Glue the base down in the box and the servos mount in a piece of 1\8" thick 1"x1" angle aluminum that screws to the base.

This is in My Sons Formula

And Miss Bud, this is one of the first ones I did, It Screws Directly to the wood blocks that came in the boat. It was thicker aluminum also, the thiner stuff works just fine and it weighs a lot less.

Just a Little More Food For Thought,,
